Spotsylvania County Utilities is dedicated to providing its customers with the most efficient and safest water service possible. Over the past 18 months, our partnered installation contractor has installed over 26,000 automated smart meters throughout the Spotsylvania County Utilities service area. Within the next six months, installation of the remaining 5,000 meters will complete this phase of the project.
With this new system, we will be able to provide customers better visibility and tools to help manage water usage, identify potential leaks quicker and ultimately save money. As always, we will use the same quality-assurance practices to ensure accuracy and performance of the new meters.
