COVID-19 OPERATING INFORMATION

Please continue to practice proper social distancing when visiting parks. Park visitors should adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Stay home if you are sick.
  • Maintain a minimum distance of 6-feet from others.
  • Avoid touching shared surfaces.
  • Wash and/or sanitize hands frequently.

The Department of Parks and Recreation continues to be open under adapted operations as we move through the Commonwealth's phased approach to reopening.

Trails, walking paths, open spaces, picnic shelters, playgrounds, and parking lots are currently open at all outdoor parks. Tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts are open for play.

Community Centers and the Marshall Center are operating in a limited capacity. For more information please call 540-507-7529

Athletic fields are open.

Recreation and leisure programming is being offered, according to COVID-19 guidelines. Please check out our web site for up to date information and programs being offered.
