Itinerary 1 - Civil War History
- Chancellorsville Day 1 - Civil War Trails site with walking trails and
interpretive markers
- Chancellorsville Visitor Center - Watch movie about the Civil War impact to the area, meet NPS Historian and learn about "Stonewall" Jackson’s Wounding
- Flank Attack Site - Drive to the site where the Confederate troops gathered before making the Flank attack on Howards Corps
- Lunch at Snack Shack - Near Spotsylvania Courthouse Battlefield
- Spotsylvania Museum - Learn the history of the County from Alexander Spotswood to Civil War, a great starting point before going to the Spotsylvania Battlefields
- Spotsylvania Visitor Center - Get maps, souvenirs, and friendly advise for your trip located at Southpoint Parkway
- Stonewall Jackson Shrine - Located at Guinea Station, a National Park Service site
Itinerary 2 - Fun in the Sun with History on the Side
- Anna Cabanna - Pull your boat up to the dock and lunch with a great view of Lake Anna
- Anna Point Marina - Dockside Realty for Lake Anna 101 Class and boat tour
- John J. Wright Museum and Cultural Center - starting point for the African American Heritage Trail and home to the museum that tells about history from Civil War to Civil Rights
- Lake Anna State Park - Visitor Center, Beach, Cabins, Boat Launch, picnic area
- Lake Anna Winery- Located just 3 miles from the Lake, tours and tastings
- Mattaponi Winery - Visit the Trading Post for a tasting of these unique wines
- Rent a watercraft - Check out the marinas or Lake Anna Rental places for all watercraft needs from pontoon boats to wakeboards
- Spotsylvania Courthouse Walking Tour - Download the app and tour the Confederate Cemetery, Civil War Trail sites and historic building
- Spotsylvania Museum - Learn the history of the County from Alexander Spotswood to Civil War, a great starting point before going to the Spotsylvania Battlefields
Itinerary 3 - Sports & Spirits
- A. Smith Bowman Distillery - Tours daily of the distillery
- Belvedere Plantation - Pumpkin Patch, Corn Maze, Zip Lines and much more for your Fall enjoyment
- Fredericksburg Area Soccer Association Field - Tournaments and practice going on year round
- Lee Drive to Mede’s Pyramid - Overlooking the train tracks and Slaughter Pen, see where Mede almost overtook "Stonewall" Jackson
- Lee’s Hill Golf Course - Call for a Tee time on this challenging course
- New Post Golf Range - If you just want to hit a bucket of balls
- Rappahannock Rail Road Museum - Every Saturday from 9 a.m. to Noon you can tour the rail cars and possibly get a ride on the little yellow train
- Slaughter Pen Farm - Part of the Battle of Fredericksburg, the Federals were pinned down here while the battle of Sunken Road was happening a few miles away
Itinerary 4 - Indoor Adventure
- Chancellorsville Visitor Center - Twenty minute movie and museum that chronicles the four battles of the Civil War fought in the area
- Ellwood - Country home built in the 1770’s and owned by the same people who owned Chatham, staffed and maintained by Friends of Wilderness Battlefield for the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park
- Miller Farms Market - Fresh produce, meats and dairy products as well as crafts and ice cream
- Penny Lanes and Movie Theater - Lunch at Penny Lanes while bowling then plan to take in a move at Paragon Theater, located at Spotsylvania Towne Centre
