WaterSmart Program
View the online portal for our WaterSmart Program to track your water usage, receive notifications for possible leaks, and pay your bills. You will need your 12-digit account number from your billing statement and your zip code to access your information. How do I pay?
For your convenience, payment information is located on the back of the monthly billing statement. If you do not receive a billing statement, you can locate the billing statement online with your customer identification number. If you do not have your customer identification number, please contact Customer Service. To pay or view your bill online, visit the Treasurer's online portal.
Disconnection Information
Water service will be DISCONNECTED if the past due amount is not received in the Treasurer’s Office by 4:00 p.m. on the due date as listed on your billing statement. The Treasurer’s office is located on the first floor of the Richard E. Holbert Building, 9104 Courthouse Road, Spotsylvania, Virginia 22553.
Should service be scheduled for non-payment disconnect, a charge of $25.00 in addition to the past due amount must be paid before service can be restored.
No payments will be collected at the service address. Neither checks nor electronic checks will be accepted by the Treasurer’s Office once service has been scheduled for disconnection.
If a credit card or electronic check payment is made less than two (2) business days prior to the due date, you must provide the Treasurer’s Office with your confirmation number to avoid disconnection. Please call 540-507-7058 with your confirmation number, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note that if any payment is returned unpaid by your bank or credit card provider, your service may be subject to disconnection without additional notice from Utilities.
