Accepting Applications

The Spotsylvania Victim/Witness Assistance Program is currently accepting applications for volunteers and unpaid interns to assist us in managing our busy caseload. Qualified applicants should be comfortable assisting others in crisis and have some knowledge of the criminal justice system.

  • Client screening
  • Community relations
  • Crisis intervention
  • Database management
  • Much more


Start date and working hours are flexible, but must be available between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Applicants available at least 4 hours per week preferred. We are willing to work with additional college internship reporting/educational requirements, if you have them.


The Spotsylvania Victim/Witness Assistance Program is located inside of the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office at the Spotsylvania Judicial Center on Route 208 (Courthouse Road).
