The Public Hearing Process
Each of these applications will be subject to public hearings before the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors during which the application proposal will be presented, the staff report reviewed, and public comment received. Anyone interested in commenting on an application may also contact their Planning Commissioner or Board Member directly and/or provide written comments by emailing the Planning Department or send them to:

Voting
The Planning Commission will vote on each application after holding their public hearing and make a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors. The Board will vote to either approve or deny each application after holding a public hearing. Once an application is scheduled for the Planning Commission or the Board of Supervisors hearing (as noted on the Status of Applications), you may find the application and staff report posted to the Planning Commission or Board of Supervisors Agenda one week prior to the meeting date.
