Pickleball is a sport described as a combination of ping-pong, tennis, and badminton. Pickleball is a fun game that is played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It is played with perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles. It is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Pickleball is fun, it is also a great work out.
Starting April 1st the Marshall Center Gym will be closed for repair work. There will be no indoor pickleball available. Outdoor courts are available at Chancellor Community Center and Cosner Park. There is no timeline for when the gym will be available again.
