Open Saturday & Sundays beginning March 4, 2023 - March 26, 2023.
Open each week on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from March 30, 2023 - October 9, 2023 and the following Holidays:
Memorial Day - Monday, May 29, 2023
Labor Day - Monday, September 4, 2023
Columbus Day - Monday, October 9, 2023
Hunting Run Reservoir will close for the season beginning Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
Fishing is available (state fishing license and access permits are required) at the Hunting Run Recreational Area. The facility has boat rentals, or you may launch your own. Gasoline engines may be on a vessel but no fuel tank or fuel may be connected to the motor and no part of motor can be in contact with water at any time while on Hunting Run Reservoir. Hunting Run Reservoir is located at 9769 Elys Ford Road, Fredericksburg, Va 22407. Enjoy approximately 430 acres of water. For fees, call 540-548-2013.
