Spotsylvania Lecture Series

Spotsylvania Tourism and the Central Rappahannock Regional Library have teamed up to offer an amazing lecture series on Spotsylvania County history. Lectures will take place the first Thursday of each month at 6:30pm. 
  • November 5, 2020: The Birth of Spotsylvania presented by The Germanna Foundation
  • December 3, 2020: Early Spotsylvania Government presented by the Spotsylvania County Museum 
  • January 7, 2021:  Spotsylvania Furnaces & Steel Industry presented by Shawn Phillips
  • February 5, 2021: Spotsylvania's African-American History presented by the John J. Wright Cultural Center & Museum
  • March 4, 2021: Spotsylvania's Female Leaders Panel with Mary Lee Carter, Jeanette Evans & Deborah Frazier moderated by Martha Hutzel
  • April 1, 2021: Book Discussions on Roots & Red Badge of Courage presented by Johny Hennessy & Central Rappahannock Regional Library Staff
