Early Voting Information
Vote Early
Effective July 1, 2020, all registered voters in Virginia are eligible to vote early in-person, no excuse required.
Know Before You Go
Before you head to our early voting office:
- Check your registration and make sure everything is correct on the Virginia Department of Elections Citizen Portal.
- Have your acceptable ID with you. This includes voter card, driver’s license, state ID card, and more.
- Check out the sample ballots so you can get in, vote, and get moving safely. (These will be posted once available.)
- Be prepared for social distancing measures in place. Bring your mask! Face coverings are appreciated when entering county facilities.
- You will be checked in to the pollbook and marked that day as voting early. You will not be permitted to vote on Election Day.
