To be nominated for this award, an employee (or group of employees) must consistently excel in the areas of customer service. Customers are individuals we serve inside and/or outside of the organization. The candidate must exemplify a characteristic that proves they are a candidate for the award. The nominator is asked to describe a detailed and specific event that demonstrates the employee’s commitment to providing extraordinary customer service. Other areas that are looked at are:
Improvement of work processes or increased implemented procedure efficiency
Initiative to reduce organizational barriers
Fostered collaboration, communication, and cooperation among peers, management staff and/or citizens
Sought knowledge about customer issues
Performed at a level above and beyond normal job requirements
