The Parks and Recreation Commission is an advisory body of the Spotsylvania County Board of Supervisors which serves as a liaison between the Parks and Recreation Department and the citizens.
The Commission consults with and advises the Parks and Recreation Director in matters affecting recreation policies and programs related to the total community recreation program and its long-range projected programs. The Commission meets the third Thursday of every other month at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers of the Holbert Building. Input from the public is invited and encouraged. For those persons with special needs, contact the Department at least five days prior to the meeting and accommodations will be made.
Day and Time of Meetings: 3rd Thursday of every other month, beginning with February at 6:00 p.m.
