Lee Hill Supervisor Lori Hayes was first elected to serve on the Board of Supervisors in the fall of 2021. She is a native of Michigan relocating to the Fredericksburg area in 1982. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from George Mason University and working in the private sector, she returned to Spotsylvania County in 2005. She became a partner in her family’s small business for which she continues to manage operations. Prior to being elected to the Lee Hill seat, she was active in the Stafford Rotary Club serving as Youth and Community Service Chair. She has also served as First Vice President on the board of the Massaponax Band Parent Association. Supervisor Hayes resides in the Lee Hill District with husband David and a son who is a recent graduate of Spotsylvania County Public Schools.
