8th Annual "Stonewall" Jackson
20-Mile Ambulance Run

YOUR MARATHON TRAINING RUN!

Saturday, October 9, 2010
Race Start:  7:15 a.m.

Race will begin at:
Robert E. Lee Elementary School

Run through the historic battlefields and gently rolling hills of picturesque Spotsylvania County!  Some of the historic sites the race passes include:

• Chancellorsville Battlefield
• Spotsylvania Battlefield
• Spotsylvania Courthouse

Registration: 

Mail registration form and check, made payable to "Spotsylvania County 20-Miler" to: Spotsylvania Parks & Recreation, PO Box 28, Spotsylvania, VA 22553 or on-line at www.active.com

Run Information:

• Awards: Prize for the top Men and Women Finishers, and Age Group winners.  (All prizes and awards must be picked up with in 30 days after the run).
• Showers:   Available at the Marshall Center immediately following the race.  Bring your own toiletries.
• History of the Stonewall Jackson Ambulance Route

• Map of Course(Race will begin at Robert E. Lee Elementary School and end at the Marshall Center.)
• Race Day Packet Pickup: 5:30a.m., Saturday October 9, 2010 at the Marshall Center, 8800 Courthouse Road, Spotsylvania, Virginia  22553
• Race Pace:  Runners must average a 12-minute per mile race pace. 
  NO RUNNER WILL BE ALLOWED TO RUN BEHIND THE SHERIFF'S ESCORT!
• Run Proceeds Go To:  Spotsylvania Emergency Concerns Association (SECA) and Civil War Preservation Trust
