Tourism and Special Events Commission
The purpose of this Commission is to promote the historical, cultural and physical assets of the County at Spotsylvania Courthouse and elsewhere, and to encourage and support citizen involvement by utilizing the talents to cultivate an educated involved community.
The Commission will perceive, recommend, develop and promote indigenous Spotsylania historical, cultural and physical assets, attractions, events and related programs at and/or related to Spotsylvania Courthouse and elsewhere in the County for residents and tourists.
The Commission will also perceive, develop and promote private sponsorship, public-private partnership, and other creative sources of support to promote tourism in Spotsylvania County.
