Recycling Information

Guidelines:
| Aluminum Recycling | Cans, clean pie plates, and clean foil are acceptable. No bi-metal/steel cans. No aluminum furniture. |
| Antifreeze Recycling | A "blue" tank is provided for collection of used antifreeze ONLY! |
| Appliances (White Goods) |
Refrigerators (food and doors must be removed), washers, dryers, freezers, stoves, and A/C Units. |
| Glass Recycling (Bottles and Jars) |
All glass must be sorted by color: clear, amber, green. Lids must be removed and containers should be rinsed. |
| Motor Oil Recycling | A tank is provided for the collection of used motor oil. No antifreeze, contaminated oil or water products permitted. |
| Newspaper Recycling | Newsprint ONLY! Must be bagged or bundled. No plastic bags!! |
| Plastic Bottle Recycling | PETE #1 (any color Soda Bottles) and HDPE #2 (any color Milk/Laundry Detergent Jugs). Caps must be removed and bottles rinsed. |
| Telephone Book Recycling | Special collection each Spring with the delivery of new directories. Books can be recycled throughout the year at the Chancellor Public Use Area. |
| Yard Waste Recycling | Brush/wood up to 6 inches in diameter and 4 feet long, yard waste and tree clippings |
