Economic Development
Doing Business

Spotsylvania County provides a healthy, well-suited environment for distribution and manufacturing facilities, as well as corporate headquarters, research and development and back office operations due to its access to I-95, major airports, CSX railroad lines and a productive and well-educated labor force.  As the northernmost Right-to-Work state, the County offers a prime business location with such amenities as a low real estate tax rate on industrial and commercial property with most sites fully serviced, and a lost cost of doing business.
