Capital Projects Management Department:
Hunting Run Park
Hunting Run Park is a new park facility at Hunting Run Reservoir situated on approximately 25 acres. This project is being completed in phases and consists of a rental fishing facility to include check station, restrooms, picnic shelter, ADA Fishing Pier, access roadway, boat ramp and parking facility.
Constuction is complete for Phase I. The ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Saturday, September 29, 2007, at the boat ramp which was constructed by Pross Construction Incorporated. The Phase I project provides a gravel access road, temporary boat rental facility, parking area, fishing pier and boat ramp.
Phase II is to be constructed in the Spring of 2011 and will provide a permanent boat rental facility, public restrooms, ADA walkway and picnic pavilion.
