Animal Control
The Department of Animal Control Officers is responsible for enforcing Virginia State Laws, and Spotsylvania County Ordinances. Please refer to Chapters 4 and 13 of the Spotsylvania County Code for any ordinances pertaining to animals. Animal Control Officers are responsible for providing emergency services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
