Real Property Information
The Spotsylvania County Circuit Court Clerk's Office has been reviewing legal issues related to providing real property information online. While the Office would like to provide this service, the current legal status of such online information has been put in question by recent actions of the Virginia General Assembly to reduce the possibility of identity theft. We anticipate that this matter will again be reviewed by the Assembly in 2005. Until these legal issues have been more fully resolved, this Office will unfortunately be unable to place real property information online.
At our office, land records, judgments and other records can be accessed through our current land records management system from January 1996 to present. Non-computerized records are available from 1722 through 1995.
