Purpose:
Social Services provides comprehensive social services to the Spotsylvania community to meet the basic needs of individuals and families and to protect children and adults from abuse, neglect and exploitation.

The Social Services Department administers, coordinates and provides direct or indirect service delivery for several state and federally mandated public assistance programs. The Social Service Department receives input and guidance from the Social Services Advisory Board.
