The open checkbook tool represents the beginning of an ongoing initiative to deliver transparency and accountability to its citizens. Be sure to check back often as we continue our efforts to expand the amount and quality of information made available.
Things to know before you start:
- Expenditure data is grouped by fund, department and account. When using the excel version, filter and sort functions are available for each column of data.
- Data is available starting January 1, 2017. Data displayed is cumulative and will continue to be updated on a monthly basis by the end of the following month. Each new fiscal year will have its own file.
- Be aware of exemptions. This tool excludes data and information that are confidential, private or protected under state and federal laws.
